What a Pitti…

What we’re bringing back for you from the the world’s most influential menswear forum

Pitti Uomo menswear trends showcased through custom-tailored suits worn by the Michael Andrews Bespoke team in Florence

A Global Gathering

Twice a year, the menswear world converges in Florence for Pitti Uomo. To the uninitiated, it may look like a trade show. We travel to Florence with a very specific purpose: to sharpen our point of view and bring back insights that directly inform how we dress our clients in the year ahead. And, this season, we curated our wardrobe around specific cinematic and cultural themes, celebrating the icons and eras that shaped modern menswear.

Here is a look inside our inspiring week in Florence.

Unofficial Pitti Pre-Party at The St. Regis Florence

Our [Un]Official Pitti Pre-Party at The St. Regis Florence

We began the week with an evening at the St. Regis Florence alongside friends from He Spoke Style, The Dalmore, and partners from across the industry.

The dress code—Black Tie Creative—set the tone. Formalwear, interpreted personally. Take this as your cue that rules exist to be understood, then bent with intention. You too can wear a suede dinner jacket with a shawl collar and buffalo-nickel buttons like Herman Leptz.

Tuesday: Ode to Armani

A quiet tribute to the late, great Giorgio Armani and his mastery of relaxed elegance, texture, and restraint. We embraced a palette of neutrals, including charcoal, ivory, and soft browns, focused entirely on texture. As Mr. Armani taught us all: comfort and elegance are not mutually exclusive.

For you, this translates to everything from power dressing redefined through volume, fluidity and restraint to garments with harmonious elegance, rooted in texture and restraint.

Tuesday Evening: Italian American Psycho

When the sun went down, the restraint of the afternoon gave way to the excess of the 1980s. Inspired by the dark glamour of American Psycho, we channeled the power dressing of Wall Street’s golden age.

Take a cue from our team and anchor your wardrobe in bold pinstripes, contrast collars, and power ties for a wardrobe that unironically signals authority. Have a little fun with power dressing, polished to the point of obsession. And always remember, restraint is optional, but taste is not.

Wednesday: Remembering Redford

Next, we looked to the American West and the quiet architect of rugged style: Robert Redford.

The team blended tailoring with frontier utility. From Channeling All the President’s Men, Downhill Racer, a reimagined Sundance Kid and more. It was a blast. We invite you to join us in taking inspiration from cinema and culture. Bring in a photo to your next custom appointment and let’s create something visionary and inspired.

Wednesday Evening: The Velvet Underground

For our final evening, we traded polish for rock and roll. Inspired by the distortion and dissent of downtown Manhattan in the 1960s, this theme was about style as subversion.

We embraced the darkness with purple velvet blazers, winter white worn provocatively at night, and suits cut to move. It was a nod to the Factory era, where art came before approval and the only rule was to be interesting. Lean into this style when you’re not looking to fit in, but to stand apart with conviction.

Thursday: Sloane Rangers

We closed the week with a nod to the classic English country-meets-city look of the 1980s.

Barbour-style jackets, tailored trousers, textured sport coats—heritage pieces worn with modern ease. This is a category you may gravitate toward for its versatility: clothing that works across environments, travels well, and improves with wear. It’s a reminder that practicality and polish don’t have to compete.

Until Next Time

We return feeling inspired, energized, and ready to welcome you back in our studios. If you saw something inspiring, let us know. Whether it’s a relaxed suit a la Giorgio Armani, a Harris Tweed sport coat by way of Redford, or something entirely different of your own imagination we’re here to help you make it a reality.
