Most men assume that dressing well is about owning the right pieces. In reality, it comes down to how you wear them and the principles behind those choices. These five rules of style, shared by Nico at Michael Andrews Bespoke, reflect a clear and practical approach.
Dress with intention, prioritize fit, and build a wardrobe that works for your day-to-day life.

I’m Nico Satryan and these are the five rules of style I live by. Number one, dressing up is not the same as dressing well. You can’t just throw on a suit and expect to look good. Everything needs to be put together with intention. Number two, fit is king. The price and brand name of your clothes don’t matter if they fit poorly. Number three, keep it classic. Classics are classics for a reason. Dressing timelessly ensures that you’ll always look good and never regret a purchase. Number four, dress for the occasion. You’ve probably heard the saying, “It’s better to be overdressed than underdressed.” But it’s equally important to read the room. And number five, effortless elegance. It’s easy to think it’s all about the clothes you wear, but dressing well extends into other areas like grooming, the fragrance you select, and how you carry yourself.
