Five keys to dressing like Harvey Specter. Number one, a sophisticated neutral color palette. Harvey generally sticks to blues and grays. The flash isn’t in the suit, but rather the man who wears it. Number two, impeccable tailoring speaks for itself. And little known fact, in the pilot, when Harvey tells Mike to see a suit guy, the appointment takes place right here at the Michael Andrews bespoke NoHo studio. Number three, peaked lapels. Once Harvey became a partner, he only wore peaked lapels. Big, bold, classic business move. They signify someone who knows what he wants and how to get it. Number four, sometimes a vest. I call this the full Harvey Specter. Beyond being a pure power move, adding a vest to any suit exponentially increases its versatility. Number five, confidence. It’s hard not to have confidence when you’re wearing a classic, impeccably tailored suit. And when you’ve got that, you don’t get lucky, you make your own luck.
