How It Works

Bespoke "White-Tie" Tailcoat Tuxedo

$4,695

If you’ve received an invitation to a white tie event, first things first–good for you! Super fancy. However, white tie is one of the most formal and prescriptive dress codes out there so it is imperative that you really get it right. (And, no, it’s not acceptable to just wear a white bow tie with your tuxedo.) You need a tailcoat. You need a special white waistcoat. And you need a wing collar formal shirt. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with our exclusive bespoke–that’s right, bespoke–white tie tailcoat tuxedo.

EXISTING CLIENTS: If you are an existing client with a pattern on file, we will use it to craft your garments. Need adjustments? Let us know, and we can arrange an in-person or video consultation to update your pattern.

NEW CLIENTS: If you are a new client ordering from outside the New York area, we will send you a try-on garment, typically within two weeks. Once you receive it, we’ll schedule a video fitting with one of our expert stylists to review the fit and make any necessary adjustments.

After the initial try-on fitting, for bespoke orders, we will create a prototype garment specifically for you to further refine the exact shape of your pattern.

But even if you know what the wedding dress code is, that doesn’t mean you know what you should wear.

Fortunately, we’re here to help. Here are the eight most common wedding dress codes you’re likely to come across, what they mean, and the most appropriate attire to wear for each one.
